Property Management
Manage multiple PG properties, configure rooms, and track occupancy from a single interface.
Adding a Property
Only the account owner can add properties. Go to Properties → + Add Property or use the Setup wizard on first login. The number of properties you can add depends on your plan.
Property fields
- Namee.g. Sunshine Boys PG
- AddressFull postal address, city, and 6-digit PIN code
- TypeBoys / Girls / Co-living
- GSTINOptional - required only if you want GST on invoices
- Invoice PrefixUp to 4 characters, e.g. WPG - used in invoice numbers (set in Settings → Property)
- Electricity Rate₹ per unit (default ₹10) - used to calculate electricity bills
You can edit these details anytime in Settings → Property. To delete a property, contact support - properties with active tenants cannot be deleted.
Configuring Rooms
Rooms belong to a property and contain beds. On the Properties page, open a property's Rooms to see its units and bed spaces, and use Add Room to create one. Beds are created automatically and labelled A, B, C, and so on.

Important
Reducing a room's bed capacity below the current occupied count is not allowed, and a room with active tenants cannot be deleted. Check out or move the tenant first. Electricity billing is available for AC rooms only.
Sharing Types
A room's sharing type comes from its bed capacity:
Single
1 bed per room
Double Sharing
2 beds per room
Triple Sharing
3 beds per room
Dormitory
4 or more beds, up to 26
Occupancy
The Properties page shows occupancy %, total beds, vacant beds, and overdue rent for your portfolio, and each property card shows its own occupancy. Beds switch between vacant and occupied automatically as tenants check in and out.
